Life below the Osprey Nest

Description
As can be seen from this picture, the abandoned or old gravel pit has developed into a wetland that is home to waterfowl and wildlife. I have seen deer wondering through this area in the fall. This spring I encountered a skunk trotting down the road and a little red fox pouncing on bugs or mice or something. And I can surely count on the Osprey returning to their nest above this water pit approximately the 3rd week of April every year.
