Description
This seal was curious to notice me watching him from the shoreline, while he was observing me from the water. This magical interaction with marine mammals is truly amazing! It is like two worlds meeting: land and sea! I have loved seals since I am a young child and it brings me joy when I get the chance to see one.
I am sad that seal hunting has started recently along the Northumberland strait without any public consultation.
(I practice ethical wildlife photography, always keeping a distance and using a zoom).
