Description
To capture this image of Brook’s Falls in Emsdale, Ontario, I descended a steep embankment and carefully positioned myself among the jagged Canadian Shield rocks lining the river. The long exposure reveals the power and constant motion of the Magnetawan River, which stretches over 175 km and has shaped this landscape for thousands of years. Brook’s Falls is especially known for its dramatic spring flow and its role as a passageway for native brook trout.
