Description
The coltsfoot is not a big plant with an impressive blooming but it is the earlyest flowers of the season in april. I don't go walking in nature for the long 6 months of fall and winter. When comes the first warm day of april I grab the camera and hike the Drummond hydro dam trail for the first safary of the season. The only colourful things encounters are some mallard males and some yellow coltsfoots. For the last 5 years now, at the end of the trail, growing alone on a pile of aggregate, this individual reminds me that it is possible to make a living through harch conditions and he welcome me home in the Mother Nature's world.
