A Great Gray Owl is not letting me out of its sight.
Its stare is, in my opinion, the most human-like of all the owls.
These raptors hunt in meadows and openings in evergreen forests. Despite its size, it's an elusive bird that is tough to find. Its camouflage is one to behold -- or not... it depends if you can spot it or not.
The Great Gray is one of the tallest owls but doesn't weight much. In fact, it's mostly just made up of layers upon layers of fluffy feathers.
