Description
Everybody loves these beautiful red coloured males...They stand out easily against the greens of our mature eastern Canadian forests. This is a male, and it was seen and photographed in early June likely not too long after its migration here from as far south as South and Central America, parts of Mexico and the Caribbean. Its often easier to know theyre around by their unique song. This is one of maybe a half dozen I was able to see this summer! Beautiful birds I think you'll agree!!!
