The iconic Snowy Owl is such an amazing bird. Red-listed in 2017 from least concern to vulnerable. Humans do have a huge impact on the species and live owl baiting with store-bought mice for photography, farmers use of pesticide and collisions with vehicles are the greatest threat to this beautiful ghost of the north.
