Description
The Inuit struggle to survive in the Arctic has always been a constant. That remains true today.
With seal bans since the 80's and propaganda against any seal hunt by others threatening a way of life and means of survival. The mere thought of killing a seal brings shameful reaction with it from non-northerners. Without seal, Inuit would not have survived in the Arctic.
Today, seal is still a main source of food for some and talented women have kept the tradition of sealskin clothing alive.
