Description
Another milky way capture from Whitney, Ontario, Canada. For this image I was walking around looking for areas to capture the milky way along the waterfront. I saw this gap between the trees and thought it would make a great image with the milky way perfectly lined up in the middle. Sometimes you just need to go out and shoot while other times you have an idea of what you are wanting out of the shoot. This image was one of those times when something appears in front of you and you just have to capture that moment. If you are interested in learning about how to capture the milky way you can purchase or subscribe to the Outdoor Photography Canada Magazine. In the latest issue I discuss how to capture the milky way and you can see some never before seen images that I have taken. If you are interested in learning more and some post processing techniques I still have limited spots left for the September night sky workshop I will be teaching in Algonquin Park, Ontario, Canada.
